Drug Education

As the primary focus of our program, and as the cornerstone of the educations methodology at the R.I.G.H.T. Program, our drug education is the provision of information and skills relevant to living in a world where drugs are commonly misused.

While we see an array of clients, who may use this education in various life-based scenarios, our drug education program assists in facilitating strategies for assisting children and young people engage with relevant drug-related issues during opportunistic and brief contacts with them as well as during more structured sessions. It is safe to say, that as in any drug education program, clients will learn the skills to choose the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, promote responsibility towards the use of drugs and relate these to their own actions and those of others, both now and in their future lives. Yet, RIGHT Program's cutting-edge and timely drug education programs also creates programming framework wherein young people may evaluate and gage their own and others' attitudes to drugs, drug usage and drug users.
